Kayak Speed Dating
Intrepid Travel hosted a kayak speed dating event on its Melbourne Urban Adventures kayaks on the Yarra River. Intrepid Travel together with Nova radio presenters Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek played cupid for one lucky couple.
Gorgeous and single gal Maddie was selected to be a part of the event after sharing her worst Valentine's Day experience on Melbourne's highest rating breakfast radio show, Nova. Nova presenters Dave and Kate took it upon themselves to select three handsome men Ash, Jacob and Ash to serenade Maddie in one of Intrepid's kayaks on the Yarra River on Valentine's Day.
One by one, each guy flirted their hearts out to win the chance to travel with Maddie to Italy on an Intrepid Trip. Maddie selected Jacob because "he was half Italian and I thought he might be able to speak Italian on the trip and translate Italian signs for me!".
The couple will travel to Italy as part of Intrepid's 16-day 'Best of Italy' small group adventure.
