Nickolas Cage has taken a shining to Melbouurne, filming two of his recent movies here. The first, Ghost Rider, was released in 2007 and the second movie shot here was Knowing. Another famous actor Tom Hanks shot his HBO mini series "The Pacific" in Melbourne and surrounding areas.
